Townley were commissioned by a respected engineering firm, specialising in defence vehicle development, to manufacture a prototype for a new lashing point.
Once the prototype was complete, the lashing point was mechanically tested in our NATA accredited laboratory and ready for field testing. Following successful trials full production of the components was completed, followed by heat treatment, surface treatment and final assembly.
Our rapid tooling design and development ensured that the strict project timeline was maintained.
